LFS-1 Light Feedback Synthesizer

The LFS-1 is an optical feedback synthesizer. It functions with Light sensors and LEDs working together to create chaotic evolving patterns. These patterns are then applied to various parameters which are modified by the player. The design is to be very approachable but have a high ceiling of practicability and self expression.

Sound Description:
FM Noise
* It had 4 different pitched FM noise oscillators
* The 4 different OSC Toggles will drone the noise

Sine Ikeda
* 4 Pitched sine oscillators
* The 4 different OSC Toggles will drone the tone

Chord Synth
* OSC Toggles change the scale degree of pitch to play chords

Led Pattern Description:
Beat Led
– This pattern works at an even tempo. The speed it determined by the Led Mod potentiometer.
– The force sensor dims led brightness for volume effects.
– The Led Button will hold Led at full brightness.

Gingerbread Map
– The pattern displayed here is based on the Gingerbreadman Map
– The force sensor dims led brightness for volume effects.
– The Led Button will sample and hold light value.
– The Led Mod potentiometer will dim the Led.

Standard Map
– The pattern displayed here is based on the Standard Map
– The Force sensor changes Led behavior
– The Led Mod will also change the way the Led behaves
– The Led Button will hold Led at full brightness.
